The first u16G assessment session was held on August 9th and was one of the "special sessions". Mario was smiling a lot and the girls where smiling and having lots of fun!
This is a talented group of u16s that want to play at the Gold level.
The team has had great success in LISA "C cup" play the last two seasons coming out victorious and they capped their 2006/2007 season off with 1st place in their u16 pool at the annual Gordon Head tournament including a thrilling 1-nil victory over NorPoint'91's from Seattle/Tacoma!
We all know there is a great core of players on this team!
The coaches are hoping for another great turn out and to see some of the players who where unable to attend session#1 at the Tuesday August 14th session at Reynolds Park : EARLY START @ 5pm!
Mario and Jules will decide where to seed this team in LISA action after the 4th try-out session!
