Cup Play!

great effort from all the Reds today!

Since LISA has withdrawn from Silver Cup action two seasons ago the Coaches thought it wouldn't hurt to set a goal of competing with the Gold teams, the luck of the draw saw the reds play the undefeated CVSA u16G Gold team. Both teams had to battle through injuries and missing players. The Reds held their own for the opening but the faster pace was noticeable. In the end CVSA goes through to the next round, but the Reds will be back in Cup play next season!

Thanks to the players, coaches and their fans for coming out on a COLD February 14th!

Ok its a new season

I know the breaks have not been coming our way in recent games, and losing 1-nil to Sooke just means a long drive home! The good thing is you are in close in all the games you play. So this is an important week of practices and then the big Cup game this weekend. Last weekend saw some HUGE upsets in Cup play and *all* Lakehill teams progressed to the next round.

I got a good feeling about this weekend....
